Banco Credicoop Cooperativo Limitado

Banco Credicoop Cooperativo Limitado resulted from the merger of 44 Cooperative Credit Unions, the longest of them being established in 1918. Later on, and joining forces, they incorporated the Cooperative Bank in 1979.
Credicoop is a non-profit institution whose aim, on the basis of the principle of reciprocal aid, is to offer financial services to all its members. These members run the bank through the Board of Directors elected according to the principle: "one member, one vote". Furthermore, each member can participate in the institutional life of the Bank thanks to the Commissions of Associates which exist in each branch and cooperate with the Board.

Strategic Goals and Objectives:

  • Enhancement of the institutional management.
  • Effectiveness in all our actions and projects.
  • Achievement of profitability required in support of our cooperative enterprise.
  • Achievement of a permanent growth in deposits, loans and services while preserving high quality assets, and an adequate liquidity level.
  • Consolidation as the largest Private National and Cooperative Bank.

A full range of services that meet individuals' and enterprises' financial needs is available at its head office located in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, and at its 244 affiliates all around the country.  Banco Credicoop distinguishes itself by its professional management skills focused in the attention of small and medium-sized enterprises, reaching 12% in that market share.
Deposits raised revert with priority to provide financing in the same locality.
A desire to contribute to the national economic progress, and the construction of a solidary society with distributive equity to ensure a life with dignity to the Argentine people.
